1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Souk Exhibit website at soukexhibit.com, or by submitting a vendor application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Use of the website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information in any form
• Attempt to access restricted areas of the website
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data
• Interfere with the normal operation of the website

3. Vendor applications

Submitting a vendor application does not guarantee acceptance. Souk Exhibit reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion, based on factors including but not limited to vendor mix, available slots, and product category.

Accepted vendors must complete payment within the timeframe communicated to them. Failure to pay within the stipulated period may result in forfeiture of the reserved slot without refund of any deposit paid.

4. Payments and refunds

All stall fees are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated. Payment must be made via the method communicated by Souk Exhibit (typically M-Pesa or bank transfer).

Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. If an event is cancelled by Souk Exhibit, vendors will receive a full refund or credit toward a future edition. Vendor-initiated cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee depending on the notice period given.

5. Vendor conduct at events

Vendors are expected to:

• Set up and operate within their designated booth space only
• Maintain a clean, professional presentation throughout the event
• Comply with all venue rules and applicable health and safety regulations
• Not sell products that differ materially from those described in their application

Souk Exhibit reserves the right to remove any vendor from an event without refund if these standards are not upheld.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Souk Exhibit or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

By submitting photos or content to Souk Exhibit, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content for promotional purposes across our channels.

7. Limitation of liability

Souk Exhibit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or participation in our events, including but not limited to loss of sales, damage to goods, or personal injury. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the stall fee paid by the vendor for the relevant edition.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
